Disapointed August 13, 2010 D. Blair (CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am usually a proponent of Kitchen Aid until I purchased the KUDS30IVSS. My family have owned kitchen aid dishwashers over the past 40 years, however the utensil rack in this one split open on the bottom after approximately 3 months of use. I'm very disappointed with quality of the wash compared to my Bosch we installed in my previous home. Just thought I'd through out my opinion.
KitchenAid Architect Series II : KUDS30IVSS will WOW you. August 11, 2010 Michele L. (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This dishwasher is amazing. Pots, pans, glasses come out squeaky clean. You won't be disappointed. It will hold my big cast iron wok and pasta pot at same time. It even fits my Electrolux stovetop grates x3. The upper shelf is adjustable for great flexibility for wine glasses and smaller pots. The stainless steel is inside and out with one exception, I wished Kitchen Aid did not skimp on the upper front control panel- it's plastic. It would have been really nice if it was lined in metal. I had shopped and studied dishwasher features from all major brands. Bought mine from Sears when they had a 40% dishwasher sale plus received another $195 rebate from Energy Saver program(now expired): Total cost ~$500.
Fabulous dishwasher September 21, 2009 Peggy (Venice FL) 52 out of 54 found this review helpful
I recently purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher Model KUDS30IV. I hadn't read any reviews on it so was a little unsure about how it would be. I shouldn't have worried. It is terrific! They advertise it as whisper quiet, it is. However, best of all, it does a great job washing the dishes and getting them completely clean. The installer recommended only the granular detergent, not the gel, and not washing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. His words "let the detergent and the dishwasher do their job". And what a job it does, everything comes out sparkling clean, bright and dry. I couldn't be more pleased! I highly recommend it.
